Public Business Sector Minister Explores Industrial Zone Development with Turkish Polaris Parks


Cairo: Engineer Mohamed Shaimi, Minister of Public Business Sector, engaged in discussions with a delegation from the Turkish company “Polaris Parks” at the ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. The delegation, led by Tunc €š¬‚¬Å“zkan, Chairman of the Board, included Osman Efren, Executive Director, and Basel Sha’ira, General Manager. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in the development and management of industrial zones, adhering to global standards, and providing innovative solutions to support small and medium-sized enterprises by utilizing underutilized lands owned by the ministry’s affiliated companies.



According to State Information Service Egypt, Minister Shaimi highlighted the significance of partnerships with industrial developers and international partners to strengthen the government’s efforts in creating an attractive investment environment. He emphasized the ministry’s intention to utilize underutilized lands from public business sector companies to establish industrial activities, contributing to sustainable industrial development, enhancing local production, and adding value to the national economy. This initiative aligns with the strategy to maximize economic returns from available assets while generating new job opportunities.



The Polaris Parks delegation outlined the company’s role as a developer of industrial lands, highlighting its investments in Egypt since its founding in 2007. They have been involved in several industrial projects across 10th of Ramadan City, 6th of October City, and Sadat City, with expansions in New October and the New Administrative Capital. The delegation expressed their interest in increasing operations in Egypt and exploring collaborations with the ministry on hotel and tourist resort development projects.
