Prisoners’ Commission: The occupation’s policy against prisoners has not been witnessed since 1967

Ramallah – Ma’an – Public Relations and Media Officer at the Commission for Prisoners’ and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs, Thaer Shreiteh, said that the policy pursued by the Israeli occupation against prisoners is escalating in an unprecedented manner by a decision from the highest military and political level, and under the supervision of the extremist Minister Ben Gvir.

In an interview with Voice of Palestine Radio, Shreiteh explained that prisons have never witnessed such repression and restrictions on prisoners in terms of repression, beatings, abuse, medical crimes committed against them, and the policy of starving and thirsting them.

Shreiteh added that this stage that the prisoners are currently experiencing, and the policy that Israel is pursuing against them, has become the most dangerous in the history of the prisoner movement since 1967.
