Prince Charles of Wales and his spouse Camilla visited on Friday Bibliotheca Alexandrina where they were welcomed by director Moustafa el Fiqi.
The heir to the throne toured the various sections of the library.
Fiqi gifted Prince Charles several books on the Egyptian civilization.
The royal couple signed in the library’s guest book and expressed their admiration of the library.
Earlier in the day, the Prince of Wales attended a Sustainable Markets Initiative event while the Duchess of Cornwall visited a veterinary hospital in Cairo.
