Cairo: Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly met today with Ms. Yuriki Koike, Governor of Tokyo, and her accompanying delegation to discuss a number of cooperation files. The meeting was held at NAD, with the presence of key figures including Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Ambassador Ahmed Shaheen, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Asian Affairs, and Mr. Nobukasu Takada, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of Japan in Cairo.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouly expressed his aspiration to host the new Prime Minister of Japan and Governor Koike at the official opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum. He highlighted that the museum project is a significant element of the cooperation between Cairo and Tokyo. Additionally, Madbouly emphasized the importance of the Egyptian-Japanese partnership in education, which includes initiatives such as the Egyptian-Japanese schools and the Egyptian-Japanese University of Science and Technology.
