Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said he is looking forward that his current visit to India would represent a further step toward developing distinguished bilateral friendship relations in the various fields, especially in light of the two countries’ joint visions and amid current political and economic challenges.
Sisi made the remarks during his meeting here Thursday with India’s Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, said Egyptian Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.
On his part, the Indian vice president welcomed President Sisi’s visit to India, lauding the privileged ties between the Egyptian and Indian peoples, the spokesman added.
Dhankhar said India backs Egypt’s efforts to achieve comprehensive development and seeks to strengthen bilateral partnership in various areas, notably the trade and investment domains, according to the spokesman.
