President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will take part in the G20 Compact for Africa Summit (CwA) that will kickstart via videoconference later in the day.

Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said Friday German Chancellor Angela Merkel will partake in the summit, along with the heads of a number of international organizations, co-partners to the initiative.

President Sisi’s participation in the event, which is initiated under the German G20 Presidency, is important as the summit provides a distinguished platform for expounding Egypt’s sustainable development achievements over the past years, added the spokesman.
