President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on Wednesday 23/10/2024 with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia.
The Spokesman for the Presidency said the President affirmed Egypt’s firm position in support of the Palestinian Authority, and the need to unify efforts to preserve the capabilities of the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights to establish their state in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions. This is in addition to Egypt’s rejection of attempts to liquidate the Palestinian issue.
The two presidents discussed efforts to stop the Israeli war on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and violations in the West Bank.
They stressed that it was important for the international community to clear and decisive position towards these practices in a way that ends the humanitarian plight of the Palestinian citizens in the Strip.

e rights of the Palestinian people, and the efforts made by Egypt at various levels to support the Palestinian people and their just cause.
