Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli underlined on Sunday the importance of boosting inter-Arab cooperation given the current regional and international developments, thanking the leaderships of Egypt, the UAE and Jordan for their integrated industrial initiative for sustainable economic development, which was launched in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
The continued support of the political leaderships of the three countries contributed to reaching such an important initiative, Madbouli said in remarks on the sidelines of the signing of the initiative.
The coronavirus crisis and the Russian military operation in Ukraine showed the need for stepping up chances of cooperation and integration among Arab countries to better serve the Arab peoples, the premier said.
The projects agreed upon today among the three countries will have a positive impact on national security, localize industry and deepen supply chain activities, he added.
Madbouli promised to iron out any hurdles facing the projects, saying we are all seek to reap fruits of these projects soon, especially in the domains of food and pharmaceutical security.
The initiative includes projects in the grains and animal production, food industries, fertilizers, Aluminium products, Polyester and Biopharmaceuticals production.
He said such projects play an important role in luring foreign investments and providing jobs.
