PM: State focuses on restructuring all governorates

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli emphasized state’s focus on restructuring all governorates, ensuring development reaches every corner nationwide.

In a press conference held after his visit to Suez on Saturday 26/10/2024, Madbouli stressed commitment to weekly visiting different governorates to review major development projects there, given the years of underfunding and lack of infrastructure improvements.

The Premier said he discussed plans with the Suez governor to expand rural development under the presidential ‘Decent Life’ initiative, as well as to renovate the post-October War public housing units.

He described the new Suez Medical Complex as a modern landmark and a gift from President Abdel Fattah Sisi, offering advanced medical services and forming part of the comprehensive health insurance system for Suez, the Canal region, and some east Cairo districts.

During his tour, Madbouly inspected the German-backed gypsum board plant, supporting key national projects, like the New Administrative Capital a
nd Alamein Towers.

He also visited a Saudi-funded furniture factory that fully exports its products and a German-Egyptian pump manufacturing facility, which meets the local demand for water and sanitation projects.

In response to the Suez governor’s request to expedite the completion of the Suez Cultural Palace, Madbouli directed immediate allocation of EGP 100 million to finalize the project as soon as possible.
