PM reviews schemes for western part of coastal line in New Alamein City

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said on Tuesday 7/2/2023 that New Alamein city has become a distinguished tourist destination on the northern coastal line, adding that it enjoyed a variety of economic, industrial, commercial and entertainment activities.

The premier’s remarks were made during a cabinet meeting held earlier in the day to review the schemes of the western part of the coastal line in New Alamein city in the presence of Minister of Housing Assem El Gazar, Presidential Adviser for Urban Planning Amir Sayyed Ahmed and Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority Mamdouh Emara.

Madbouli asserted that the meeting aims at following up on development efforts in the North Coast especially the western part of New Alamein City.

Meanwhile, Cabinet Spokesman Nader Saad said the development of the western part of New Alamein aims at turning it to an international tourist destination all over the year and it comes in line with the State’s strategy for sustainable development, noting that investment in this part would help in promoting for tourism in view of the recent construction of hotels, tourism units as well as other residential areas.

At the end of the meeting, Madbouli ordered a swift implementation of the schemes of this area in order to start launching as soon as possible, noting that the consultative office will negotiate with the international operators especially regarding the management and operation of hotels that will be established in this area.
