Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly held a meeting on Sunday with Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mahmoud Esmat and Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El Khatib to review joint initiatives and investment opportunities. Madbouly reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving the investment climate, attracting private sector participation, and implementing the state ownership policy through the government Initial Public Offering (IPO) programme. He stressed the importance of continued efforts to create a competitive environment and facilitate investment in key sectors.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the Prime Minister highlighted the collaboration between the two ministries in promoting investment opportunities in the energy sector, particularly in renewable energy, to capitalise on Egypt’s growing potential in the field.
