Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has followed up on efforts exerted to develop public economic authorities upon directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

During a virtual meeting Sunday with Finance Minister Mohamed Maait, the premier issued directives to develop administrative and financial services of public economic authorities and make the utmost use of their assets and resources.

For his part, the finance minister said that a proposal was made to form a higher committee to improve the performance of public economic authorities.

The committee will be entrusted with setting rules to measure and evaluate the performance of public economic authorities and achieve integration among them, Maait added.
