Addis Ababa: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli participated on Saturday, on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, in the inaugural session of the 38th African Union (AU) Summit hosted by Addis Ababa. The summit, held from February 15-16, attracted notable figures including Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and UN Secretary General Ant³nio Guterres.
According to State Information Service Egypt, this year’s summit is themed ‘Justice for Africans and People of African Descent Through Reparations’, highlighting the focus on addressing historical injustices. The African Union Summit serves as a significant platform for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to present its initiatives and solutions aimed at fostering development within the continent.
