Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly participated in the opening session of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) summit in Beijing. The session was chaired by President Xi Jinping of China and attended by President Senegal and representatives of regional and international organizations.

The Prime Minister, on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, attended the summit as part of Egypt’s participation. Commemorative photos were taken with the heads of state and government at the opening session’s headquarters in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

The Chinese President emphasized his desire to strengthen relations with Africa and elevate them to a strategic partnership in various areas, including industry, agriculture, and infrastructure. He called for a development model that is more equitable and environmentally friendly.

The summit serves as a platform for discussing and promoting cooperation between China and African countries.
