Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli witnessed on Tuesday the celebration held by the Nuclear Power Plants Authority for Electricity Generation in the New Administrative Capital on the occasion of the 4th annual Nuclear Energy Day, on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
According to State Information Service Egypt, during the celebration, Madbouli asserted that nuclear energy and its useful purposes play a key role in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He emphasized its importance, particularly in terms of saving water and energy, as nuclear energy is a clean source that does not produce carbon emissions. This quality of nuclear energy contributes effectively to addressing global warming and reducing the impact of climate change.
