Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has praised the efforts made by the National Alliance for Civil Development Work to back the government’s efforts in supporting the citizens in need.
Madbouli made the remarks during his meeting on Thursday 18/8/2022 with members and representatives of institutions affiliated to the National Alliance for Civil Development Work; with the participation of Minister of Social Solidarity Nevine el Qabbag.
He asserted the government’s keenness to revitalize its partnership with the alliance in all development programs that target the neediest segments of society.
The meeting was meant to coordinate joint efforts for implementing President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives as regards introducing a new package of social protection measures.
The prime minister expressed thanks and appreciation to all members and representatives of the alliance for the tangible efforts its institutions have made over the past period within the framework of community work and assisting low-income people across the country, Cabinet Spokesman Nader Saad said.
Madbouli proposed that a cooperation protocol would be signed between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the National Alliance for Civil Development Work to set work rules related to the new social protection measures.
During the meeting, the alliance members said it is willing to provide support for 600,000 needy families per month.
