Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has received an invitation to take part in meetings of the Arab-Brazil economic forum, which will be held in São Paulo in July.
During a meeting with Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Chambers Khaled Hanafi and Chairman of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce Osmar Chohfi, Madbouli praised the momentum witnessed in relations between Egypt and Brazil recently.
He expressed the government’s support for all efforts exerted to upgrade relations between the two countries to the level of economic partnership.
Hanafi, for his part, said Egypt is the main trade partner for Brazil in the Arab region with the volume of trade exchange between the two countries recording 206 billion dollars.
Brazil is ready to become a gate to export Egyptian products to Latin America, Hanafi added.
