New Alamein: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli toured the Heritage City in New Alamein on Saturday, 12/4/2025, as part of his visit to review ongoing projects.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the Prime Minister highlighted that the Heritage City serves as a comprehensive destination for cultural, artistic, and entertainment events. This development adds a significant tourism component to New Alamein.
The site, spanning 260 feddans, features a Roman theater, a central lake, cinemas, a mosque, a church, hotels, restaurants, and luxury housing. Several facilities, including the Roman theater, mosque, church, and parts of the cinema complex, are already operational.
Additionally, several commercial spaces have been sold to investors, and international firms have been contracted to manage serviced apartments. The Prime Minister also inspected the final works at the conference center and surrounding landscaping. He called for high maintenance standards and the creation of pedestrian pathways to enhance the visitor experience.
