Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli emphasized the state’s continued support for the healthcare sector, highlighting the government’s aim to provide the highest level of comprehensive medical services, particularly for underprivileged citizens. During his inspection tour of several healthcare facilities in Giza and Cairo, the premier pointed out the significant progress made in the sector through the establishment and development of numerous healthcare facilities across various governorates.
According to State Information Service Egypt, at Dar Al Salam Oncology Hospital, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar highlighted the facility’s critical role in providing a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for cancer patients. These services include breast cancer treatment, hematological malignancies, pediatric oncology, bone marrow transplants, cardiac catheterization, therapeutic nutrition, and psychological treatment services.

dded that ongoing development plans include upgrading the existing building and constructing a new annex to enhance the hospital’s capacity, provide state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, and expand its medical services, transforming it into a comprehensive cancer treatment center. The project is planned to be completed within 24 months. However, Madbouli instructed to expedite the timeline, ensuring high-quality and efficient delivery.
