Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli inspected the factory of the German company of Knauf for plaster rods and products.
This came on Saturday 26/10/2024 during Madbouli’s visit to Suez which included a number of projects in the various fields, including health, education, residential and services.
Director of Knauf Egypt factory Mohamed Shabrawy posted the premier on the factory and its activities.
Knauf Egypt is committed to presenting high-quality products depending on local expertise via manufacturing a different group of plaster rods and metal pieces that meet the demands of the Egyptian and international markets, Shabrawy said, adding that these products include gypsum board used internally in the places exposed to moist, like coastal areas.
Knauf Egypt presents various group of designs of drop ceiling, he said, pointing out to these developed products as representing mixture of quality and efficiency and this makes them the best choice of engineers and contractors in Egypt and outside it.
The investme
nts of Knauf Egypt reached 80 million euros as direct investments, he said, adding that this promotes the productive capacity of the company and enables it to present high-quality products for the regional and local market.
The factory depends totally on Egyptian labor, he said.
The German company of Knauf invested 600,000 euros to provide crude materials needed for the production operation, he said.
He said that the Knauf Egypt established two training centers with investment of 600,000 euros, adding that these centers receive 4000 trainees annually and provide them with the latest training on the technique and systems of modern building to contribute to improving local efficiencies and upgrading techniques of this industry in Egypt.
Knauf contributed to several major national projects in Egypt, including Alamein Towers, Iconic Tower and the new building of the Egyptian parliament in addition to other projects in the New Administrative Capital, Director of the company Mohamed Abdel Rasoul said.
