Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli said Egypt managed to amaze the world by the outstanding organization of the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27).
The Egyptian state has mobilized all factors of success for the climate conference in accordance with directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi who was closely following up all preparations, he said.
Madbouli made the remarks on Wednesday while chairing the weekly government meeting to review a number of vital issues.
The premier voiced deep appreciation of the president for following the government.
He also thanked all ministers and officials who exerted strenuous efforts over the past months to prepare the event in such wonderful way, lauding turning Sharm el Sheikh to the most beautiful green city.
The premier also thanked the Armed Forces that exerted great efforts to implement several development and service projects in Sharm el Sheikh, referring to the unprecedented development of the city’s infrastructure and eco-friendly smart transportation.
He also commended the efforts exerted by the Interior Ministry whose personnel did their best to ensure security and safety in the city.
Meanwhile, he highlighted the success realized during the COP27 activities as Egypt signed several memos and deals to implement a number of clean energy and green hydrogen projects.
