Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli held a meeting on Sunday 16/7/2023 with CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Hossam Heiba to discuss granting the golden license to some investors for starting their projects.
Heiba reviewed the GAFI efforts to lure further foreign investments, citing the meetings that he held with a number of investors and representatives of international companies, with a view to promoting available investment opportunities in various sectors.
CEO of the GAFI briefed the prime minister on the outcome of his visit to Germany, saying the German side showed interest in transferring some industries to Egypt, especially in light of the recently-approved investment incentives.
The meeting took up the requests submitted by several investors to establish three new free zones in Alexandria, the 10th of Ramadan city and the 6th of October city.
