Prime Minister Moustafa Mabdouli followed up on implementing directives issued by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to establish a fund for maintenance projects in slum areas.
This came within the framework of continued directives issued by President Sisi to give priority to implementing projects to develop slums and unplanned areas, added Madbouli during a meeting held on Thursday 15/12/2022.
President Sisi ordered the establishment of a special fund for maintenance projects which were implemented in slum areas, including projects of “Al Asmarat”, “Al Mahrousa”, “Ahalena “and ” “Ma’an”, said Mabouli during the meeting, that was attended by Local Development Minister Hisham Amna, along with a number of high-level officials.
Madbouli, meanwhile, said that President Sisi also ordered to organize various programs to the residents of areas, which were developed, as part of efforts related to character building for new generations.
During the meeting, the governor of Cairo reviewed the executive position of the development projects of the various unplanned areas in the governorate.
At the end of the meeting, Madbouli underlined the importance of forging a mechanism to follow up on the monthly dues from the beneficiaries of the housing units in order to preserve such projects.
No delay will be allowed in collecting the State dues nationwide, he made it clear.
