PM Follows Up on Development Works at Giza Plateau


Gaza: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli held a meeting to follow up on the development works at Giza’s Pyramids Plateau. The meeting was attended by Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA) Mohamed Ismail, and Chairman of Orascom Pyramids Entertainment (OPE) Amr Gazarin, as stated by Cabinet Spokesman Mohamed El Homsani.



According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting addressed the progress made in upgrading electricity and communication networks in the archaeological area. Discussions also included facilitating the entry of tourist buses from new gates and setting up electric bus routes, alongside providing service facilities. The primary goal of the project is improving the visitor experience at the pyramids, which is anticipated to attract more tourists.
