PM: Each governorate should be keen on developing its main entrance

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli affirmed that each governorate should be keen on developing its main entrance, as it truly reflects its identity and its cultural and historical pattern.

Madbouli’s remarks were made during his visit Tuesday to Fayyoum governorate to inspect several development and service projects.

The premier was accompanied by Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Minister Assem el Gazzar, Local Development Minister Hisham Amna and Fayyoum Governor Ahmed el Ansari along with a host ministry’s officials and relevant bodies.

At the beginning of his tour, the premier visited a project to develop and expand the main entrance to the governorate, which is 1 km long.

Madbouli also listened to a detailed explanation from the Fayyoum governor, who said that such development works were implemented by the Military Production Ministry in cooperation with the Roads and Bridges Authority.

The development works include expanding Cairo/Fayyoum road, which extends from El Elam village until Abdel Moneim Riad Square in Ring Road in the governorate.

The development works also involve beautification of the central island of the road and raise the efficiency of lighting works.
