Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted keenness on following up on projects having to do with developing and improving medical services which come at the top of the government priorities.

Madbouli highlighted the special interest in promoting villages and the most needy areas.

At the beginning of a tour in Minya on Saturday 19/10/2024, Madbouli inspected Samalout central hospital where the services of the presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Building Humans’ are offered.

He is being accompanied during his tour by Local Development Minister Manal Awad, Housing Minister Sherif Serbini, Minya Governor Emad Kidwani and a number of other officials.

The premier said visiting this medical edifice is meant to stand on the services offered within the presidential initiative that is meant to build humans and achieve sustainable development.

Governor Kidwani said the governorate has witnessed offering about one million services in various domains, topped by the medical one, within the framework of the pr
esidential initiative.

Meanwhile, Assistant Health Minister Anwar Ismail said this edifice was developed within the Health Ministry’s efforts to improve the services offered to citizens.

The hospital’s director, Riham Essam Eddin, said the hospital has offered about 82,000 services within various presidential initiatives, including A New Beginning for Building Humans’and 100 Healthy Days.

She noted that 2,319 surgeries were conducted under the initiative for ending waiting lists at hospitals.

She also referred to the development which the hospital underwent to boost its capacity.

The premier inspected the kidney dialysis unit where patients commended the services offered there.
