PM Commends Cabinet’s Supreme Medical Committee for February Efforts


Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli praised the continued efforts of the Cabinet’s Supreme Medical Committee during the month of February, highlighting the committee’s crucial role in monitoring and responding to medical appeals across various governorates, and providing optimal health services tailored to the needs of each case.



According to State Information Service Egypt, this commendation came during a meeting held on Sunday to review the committee’s activities throughout February 2025. The meeting was informed by a report prepared by Hossam el-Masry, the Medical Advisor to the Cabinet and Chairman of the Cabinet’s Supreme Medical Committee.



The committee’s chairman, Hossam el-Masry, stated that throughout February, the committee was committed to promptly and effectively addressing the concerns of citizens. Their efforts included monitoring and responding to 1,095 cases via the WhatsApp application, media outlets, and various social networking platforms.



Masry further reported that in February, the prime minister issued 163 treatment decisions at State expense. Additionally, the committee facilitated health procedures, the provision of medications, and responded to a number of emergency health situations.
