PM attends signing of MoUs to develop medical examination

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli attended on Wednesday the signing ceremony of memorandums of understanding with two international companies to develop medical diagnosis in Egypt.

The MoUs were signed between the Health and Population Ministry, the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply and Technology Management (UPA) and two international companies; “Perkin Elmer Inc.” and “HVD Egypt”.

The signing ceremony was attended by Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Head of the Egyptian Unified Procurement Authority (UPA) Bahaa El Din Zeidan, President and CEO at Perkin Elmer Inc. Prahlad R Singh and General Manager of HVD Egypt Mohamed Abul Naga.

The MoUs fall within the framework of the Egyptian State’s plan to set up a genome center, which aims to prepare a map of the Egyptian human genome.
