Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli attended on Wednesday the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Metallurgical Industries Holding Company of the Public Business Sector Ministry and the Saudi-Egyptian Industrial Investment Company.
The memorandum aims to develop and up the capital and lure new investments in El Nasr Glass & Crystal Company for the manufacture of glass and crystal.
Minister of Public Business Sector Mahmoud Esmat was present during the singing ceremony.
Esmat said the MoU is part of the State Ownership Policy Document and aims to promote cooperation and partnership with the private sector as well as luring new investments.
El Nasr Glass & Crystal Company is the first company for the manufacture of glass products in the Middle East, he added.
The company is contributing to meeting needs of the local market of glass products.
