Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has witnessed the signing ceremony of a letter of intent with Iraq and Jordan over cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence and capacity building.
The deal, inked by the ministers of communications and information technology of the three countries, is one of the fruits of the trilateral cooperation summit, which was held for the first time in Cairo in March 2019.
The three parties agreed to boost cooperation in capacity building by exploring possible cooperation opportunities in the field of digital skills and creating a new generation of young talents in the areas of artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, quality assurance and testing through the Mahara-Tech platform.
Under the deal, a joint team will be formed to follow up on the implementation of the cooperation projects.
The team will meet periodically in order to develop a vision for cooperation projects and executive programs with specific timetables, and will submit periodic reports to the relevant ministers on the progress made so far.
