Cairo: The Ministry of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation announced that allocations for the national project “Decent Life” have reached nearly EGP 350 billion. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance living conditions and livelihoods in the Egyptian countryside.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the figures were included in a report reviewing the implementation progress of the initiative, which is expected to continue until late December 2024. This effort aligns with the ministry’s economic and social development plan and Egypt Vision 2030.
Approximately 18 million people are benefiting from the first phase of the presidential initiative, which aims to improve life in rural areas. The first phase targets 1,477 villages and encompasses about 23,000 projects, with implementation costs exceeding EGP 350 billion.
