Planning Minister: Egypt is capable of embracing Arab investments to realize Arab integrity

Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala El Said said thanks to the Egyptian State’s political and economic vision since President Abdel Fattah El Sisi took power, Egypt was able to achieved giant positive leaps in setting the scene for a luring investment atmosphere meant to attract Arab investments and meet needs of the various commodities and products in Arab countries.

In exclusive statements to MENA Thursday 9/2/2023, the minister said that the upcoming stage will witness the flow of a number of Arab and foreign investments into Egypt covering the industrial, agriculture, tourism and service sectors.

The minister highlighted Arab praise of Egyptian infrastructure, Egyptian economic growth rates, along with the role of the Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE) in promoting for investments in Egypt.

Said pointed out that she expounded promising investment opportunities in Egypt, referring to Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli’s announcement Wednesday of plans to sell stakes in 32 companies.

The TSFE acts as an Arab and foreign investment partner with a minor share, with a view to ensuring and facilitating measures before the private sector, citing long-term investment opportunities floated before investors, said the minister.

She also shed light on measures adopted by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) to facilitate releasing goods from ports.

The minister accentuated the importance of Arab integration in the industry field to meet all future Arab needs of commodities.
