Kuwait City: Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation Rania el Mashat hailed bilateral relations with Kuwait as ideal for deep and strong relations in the Middle East region. Mashat pointed out to historical, deep and strong ties with Kuwait.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Mashat’s remarks were made at a meeting with Kuwaiti Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Noura Suleiman Al-Fassam. The meeting took place on the sidelines of joint annual meetings of Arab financial authorities, which were held in Kuwait on Saturday, 12/4/2025.

Mashat stated that the meeting discussed joint work fields between Egypt and Kuwait, with an emphasis on planning, economic development, and international cooperation. It provided an opportunity to explore ways of enhancing bilateral relations and addressing issues of mutual concern.

She highlighted the significance of the Joint Egyptian-Kuwaiti Committee in achieving further coordination and cooperation. The committee facilitated the signing of an executive program for a scientific and technical cooperation agreement between the Egyptian and Kuwaiti governments.
