Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala el Saeed said on Thursday 27/10/2022 that the support program of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for Egypt backs the state’s structural reform in order to realize sustainable growth and promote the competitiveness and capacity of the Egyptian economy.

At a cabinet press conference on Thursday, she said the program aims at increasing the production component and the Egyptian economy’s exportation potential.

The program also opens the door for the private sector to play its vital role in pushing forward the development process and creating decent jobs.

She said this is one of the most important recommendations of the Egyptian Economic Conference 2022.
