Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala el Saeed attended on Tuesday the foundation stone-laying ceremony of two schools in the Cosmic Village in the Sixth of October city.
During her participation in the ceremony, the minister, who is also the board chairperson of the Sovereign Fund of Egypt (SFE), stressed the Egyptian State’s keenness on investing in untapped assets to achieve the highest possible returns.
The two schools will be built in partnership with the SFE and Mobica company within the framework of the fund’s plan to exploit movable assets, back education and get a good return on thee investment.
The minister said this step supports efforts to provide the best educational services, with a high quality as per international standards and at an appropriate cost, for middle-income households in Egypt.
She further noted that the SFE, through these partnerships, presents a distinguished model based on maximizing the value of untapped state-owned assets and boosting partnership with the private sector.
The Cosmic Village is a cultural, scientific, entertaining, historical, and touristic village that includes the most important and famous landmarks of the Egyptian governorates and their various monuments and history.
