Pilgrims head to Muzdalifah after standing at Arafat

Amman: After sunset on Saturday, the ninth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, pilgrims began to move to Muzdalifah, after standing on Mount Arafat.

After arriving in Muzdalifah, pilgrims will perform the Maghrib and Isha prayers together, following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), then they will pick up stones for Jamarat rituals, spend the night in Muzdalifah, and then head to Mina after fajr prayers on Sunday, the first day of Eid Al Adha, to throw the Aqaba camel and slaughter the Hedi.

The movement from Arafat to Muzdalifah is the third stage of the Hajj.
