People of Determination showcase diverse products at ADIHEX 2024

The Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO) is participating in the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX 2024) to provide an opportunity for individuals of determination to showcase their diverse creations and products.

This initiative highlights the abilities and potential of the students in producing items relevant to hunting and equestrian activities.

The participation further aligns with the organisation’s efforts to enhance vocational and educational empowerment for people of determination.

Seven products will be available for sale (Al-Wakr, Al-Manqala, Al-Mikhla in small and large sizes, Al-Sidairi, the mug, Al-Zawliya, and Al-Tikiyya), all designed and crafted by individuals of determination, demonstrating high quality and variety to cater to the interests of hunting and equestrian enthusiasts visiting the exhibition.

Abdullah Al Humaidan, Secretary-General of ZHO, expressed pride in the achievements of the people of determination. He said, ‘Seeing t
he creativity of our children transform into tangible products is not just an achievement; it is a living testament to the power of will and creativity. These heroes prove to us day by day that there are no limits to possibilities when true desire and determination are present.’

Al Humaidan added, ‘Our participation in the Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition is not only to showcase our products but also to affirm that people of determination are an integral part of our social fabric, capable of competing and succeeding in all fields. We are here to say to everyone with a dream: Be confident, keep striving, for creativity knows no bounds, and determination can achieve the impossible.’

The exhibition will also feature various live workshops presented by the organisation’s students in collaboration with their trainers. These workshops will demonstrate how these products are made within the organisation’s vocational rehabilitation workshops. A schedule for the live workshops has been prepared, with sessions sprea
d across the morning and evening.

Additionally, there will be live workshops for children visiting the exhibition, offering activities such as printing or colouring on a bag or thermal mug, providing an opportunity for children to engage in hands-on activities. Workshops on printing and Sadu weaving will also be held, where students will showcase their skills in these traditional arts, offering visitors a unique experience that blends craftsmanship and creativity.
