Speaker of the House of Representatives Hanafy Gibaly on Tuesday 21/9/2021 mourned the death of former defense minister Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawy.

In a cable of condolences, he said that the late defense minister had participated in running the country’s affairs in a very critical time of Egypt’s history.

Late Tantawy has managed through his wisdom to take Egypt to safety, he added.
