JENIN: A Palestinian youth has Tuesday succumbed to wounds he sustained from Israeli gunfire during a raid in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, last week, medical sources confirmed.

The director of al-Razi Hospital, Fawaz Hammad, said that Rabie Faisal Zakarneh, 20, from the town of Qabatiya, has died as a result of injuries he sustained during the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of the town.

Zakarneh was seriously injured during the occupation forces’ raid into the said town at dawn last Saturday.

During the raid, Mutasim Nabil Abu Abed, 13, was also killed by Israeli forces.
