JERUSALEM: A young Palestinian man was shot by Israeli forces’ live fire this evening during a military incursion into the town of Anata, northeast of Jerusalem, said local sources.

Sources said that confrontations broke out with the occupation forces in the Anata area, during which forces attacked residents with live fire and tear gas canisters, shooting and injuring a youth. Dozens of others suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.

Confrontations also erupted in the town of al-Ram, north of Jerusalem.
