HEBRON: A Palestinian man was injured when the Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas bombs towards local residents in the village of Umm Lasfa in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron.

An activist against settlements, Osama Makhamreh, said that the occupation forces stormed the village of Umm Lasfa and fired tear gas bombs at citizens, causing citizen Mahmoud Hassan Daoud to faint after inhaling the toxic gas. He was transferred to Yatta Governmental Hospital for medical treatment.

The occupation forces also seized a vehicle and blacksmithing equipment from a shop and wreaked havoc on the contents of several homes owned by the Daoud family in the village.

They also seized another vehicle while it was crossing the bypass road south of Hebron and fined him 2,500 shekels.

In a related context, an Israeli force broke into the village of Ma’in in the town of Al-Karmel, east of Yatta, south of Hebron.
