A Palestinian man sustained injuries today after being physically attacked by Israeli settler terrorists in the village Yirza, located in the northern Jordan Valley, northeast of the occupied West Bank, according to medical sources. Sources from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that emergency medical teams responded to the incident and provided assistance to the injured individual, identified as Jihad Saleh Masaied, who had been assaulted by the settlers. He was subsequently transported to hospital for further treatment. Mukhlis Masaied, the head of the Yirza village council, said that over 20 armed Israeli settlers tormed the village and embarked on raiding the homes of local residents. He added that the settlers issued threats and intimidated many of the village’s residents. Several villagers were subjected to physical violence, with one of them requiring hospitalization. During their violent incursion, the settlers also stole around 70 cattle, adding to the distress and losses suffered by the community. Masaied added that the attack on the village lasted for over two hours, prompting concerns about the safety and security of Palestinian residents in these areas.
