A Palestinian man sustained injuries this evening in a physical attack by Israeli occupation soldiers at the northern entrance of the town of Salfit in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources. The sources informed WAFA that Israeli occupation soldiers, stationed at the northern entrance of Salfit, assaulted Aziz Khaled Salman, a resident of the nearby village of Marda, as he passed through the entrance. The assault involved the use of rifle butts by the soldiers, said the sources, resulting in Salman sustaining minor injuries. He was subsequently transported to Salfit Governmental Hospital for medical treatment. Israeli occupation forces have been harassing and obstructing the movement of Palestinian civilians at the northern entrance of the town, disrupting their daily lives.
