Cairo: Palestine’s permanent delegate to the Arab League, Muhannad al Aklouk, lauded the efforts exerted by Egypt’s health and social solidarity ministries, as well as the Red Crescent, in supporting the Palestinian people and saving the lives of those wounded from the Gaza Strip.
According to State Information Service Egypt, al Aklouk also commended Egypt’s efforts to facilitate the return of Palestinians to Gaza after receiving their treatment in Egypt. His remarks came during a visit to the Rafah border terminal and Arish city, part of a delegation from the Arab League aimed at assessing aid entry mechanisms.
The delegation was accompanied by a convoy comprising 20 aid trucks loaded with 200 tons of humanitarian aid. During the visit, the delegation also toured the Red Crescent warehouses and Arish hospital, where they inspected a number of wounded Palestinians.
