RAMALLAH: The Palestinian Presidency expressed today its deep appreciation for the unwavering support of the People’s Republic of China for the Palestinian people, their just cause and their legitimate rights to freedom and independence.

In a press statement, the Presidency emphasized the historical, strong relations between the two nations and their friendly peoples.

Reaffirming its commitment to the one-China principle, the Palestinian Presidency underlined the significance of preserving China’s territorial integrity, including the status of Taiwan.

It reiterated its rejection of any interference in China’s internal affairs, highlighting the positive impact of China’s unity and wise international policies in supporting regional stability, peace, and global security.

The Presidency further voiced its firm support for China’s right to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity, endorsing the reunification of the entire land of China, which includes Taiwan.
