Over 3.6 COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in Egypt, says Health Ministry

The Health and Population Ministry said that a total of 3,600,582 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Egypt since the launch of the “Knock on Doors” campaign from January 29 till February 21.

In statements on Friday, Spokesman for the Health Ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said the campaign is in line with the political leadership’s directives to enhance COVID-19 vaccination coverage nationwide.

The campaign covered Menoufia, Minya, Assiut, Qena and Qalyubia governorates, the spokesman further noted.
