Representative George Okais presented this morning, on behalf of the “Strong Republic Bloc”, a proposal for a duplicate law aimed at amending some articles related to requests for dismissal and dismissal of judges contained in the Code of Civil Procedure and Criminal Procedure, in a manner that prevents abuse of the right to submit such requests, as is currently happening In the ongoing investigations into the file of the explosion in the port of Beirut and the events of the “Ain al-Remmaneh Battle”.

The bloc also turned its previous question to the government about the government measures taken to investigate the threat of judicial investigator Tariq al-Bitar to an interrogation, after the government’s answer was received and the bloc was not convinced of it.
