Occupying Israeli army denies access of Palestinians into their lands in Salfit

Israeli occupation forces denied today access of Palestinian landlords into their own lands that are currently at risk of Israeli confiscation in the town of Deir Istiya, in the occupied West Bank province of Salfit, according to local sources. Nazmi Salman, a local Palestinian activist, told WAFA that scores of Palestinians, along with solidarity activists, who rallied after the Friday prayer in protest of Israeli plans to take over their lands were denied access into the lands by the Israeli occupation army. During the rally, residents and anti-occupation activists raised banners denouncing the crimes of the Israeli occupation, the Israeli policy of land grab, and the establishment of colonial outposts. They emphasized the need to expand the nonviolent resistance of the Israeli settlements and Israeli plans aimed at taking over more lands in the village in favor of settlement expansion.
