GAZA: Thousands of displaced Palestinians east of Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip began a new displacement movement on Wednesday after the Israeli occupation army issued orders to evacuate new areas.

The occupation army reduced the area of the alleged “humanitarian area” east of Deir al-Balah, which is crowded with hundreds of thousands of displaced people, after orders to evacuate new areas ahead of military operations.

Meanwhile, the occupation army published a map on X demanding “all residents and displaced people in Blocks 129 and 130 in the neighboring neighborhoods and Deir al-Balah to the south, from Salah al-Din Street to to the street marked on the map.

Thousands of civilians were forced to leave their places on foot, carrying on their backs small bags and some basic belongings such as blankets, mattresses and a little amount of food.

The majority of the “humanitarian zone” lacks infrastructure, and there is no water or service facilities, as it is an uninhabited area, and is witness
ing health and environmental crises.

The displaced people suffer from a scarcity of transportation and various means of transportation, due to the lack of sufficient fuel, which forces them to use handcarts or distribute luggage among all family members.

According to the Civil Defense, the occupation has placed more than 450,000 Palestinian citizens under the burden of “new humanitarian challenges”, after reducing the area that it previously classified as “safe humanitarian” in the Gaza Strip.
