JENIN: Israeli occupation forces attacked several civilians and tore down Palestinian flags and portraits of martyrs today in the southern region of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian security sources.

The sources reported to WAFA that Israeli occupation forces set up military checkpoints at several intersections in villages and towns including Ya’bad, Kufeiret, Arraba, Aja, Anza, and Jaba. They stopped civilian vehicles, conducted searches, and scrutinized the identities of passengers, causing disruptions to their movement.

Simultaneously, the Israeli forces physically assaulted several young men, particularly near Ya’bad, Kufeirat, Arraba, and Merka.

Additionally, the occupation forces ripped apart Palestinian flags and portraits of martyrs displayed at the roundabouts near the towns of Anza and Ajja in the south of the province.
